In Japan, the price for a PS3 is causing customers to buy from the competition instead. In Australia the 60 GB system costs almost 100 US dollars more than americans are paying. Sony has been having to give away previews, which are playable demos for the system, to attract customers. A game expert says that nobody completely understands the system’s capabilities, which make it so expensive. Another gaming expert commented that a full lineup of newer, more attractive games is needed to make the system worth the cost.
