Here at Playstation3UK we are always looking for new members of staff to help us out with news-finding. This page will detail how you can apply for to become a news poster for Playstation3UK and the kind of person we are looking for.

Requirements:

- Good spelling/grammar.
- Knowledge/interest in the Playstation 3.
- Willing to dedicate a bit of time a day for the site.
- Friendly and easy to talk to.
- You will stay active. (at least one or two posts a day, if news is scarce this can be revised)

If you have these qualities you’re basically in. Once you have been accepted, a few site rules need to be put into action by you.

- Promote the site wherever you can. (Optional)
- You must write the articles yourself. No copy and pasting websites. Re-wording is fine, but copy and pasting is effortless and unfair to the person who has taken the time to write out the information.
- You leave a source link to the site or wherever you got the information from your post. (Where possible)
- No editing other users’ posts.

So what do you get for posting for Playstation3UK?

Well, Playstation3UK is part of the Next-Gen-Network. The Next-Gen-Network consists of a couple of gaming related fans which together have recieved over 500,000 impressions since launch. SilentHill5.net has recieved over 250,000 unqiue hits since August 07 and is definately on the grow with 42,104 unique visits in october 07. Over time, we hope that Playstation3UK can contribute to these hits. You’re going to meet alot of people who share similar interests so it should be a bit of fun. However, the main, big point which we are brining in bonus’. Judging on the site popularity, the ad revenue and your performance you might well be offered a little bit of money for a job well done.

Thats pretty much it really, the rules aren’t too serious. :P And thats the idea, we dont want it to be all rules, we wanna have a bit of fun and make a nice site where PS3 gamers can come and get updates and discuss the latest Playstation and Sony news together.
